Dr. Tyler Evans
Dr. Tyler Evans is an infectious disease and public health expert with extensive experience responding to global disease outbreaks, including two Ebola crises. He has worked with Doctors Without Borders and Partners in Health across sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, focusing on health equity for refugees, trafficking survivors, LGBTQIA+ communities, people experiencing homelessness, substance use, and indigenous populations. He served as New York City’s first Chief Medical Officer, leading COVID-19 medical response. Currently, he is CEO and CMO of Wellness and Equity Alliance and an adjunct associate professor at USC’s Keck School of Medicine, advancing care for vulnerable communities.
